Ashlee’s America

Posted by: Eric Sanders | Comments (1)

Thanks for coming back

My daughter recently wrote this poem for me. I must say, I was extremely proud of her. Apparently she’s her daddy’s girl.

America by Ashlee Sanders

The USA
America
Presidents
Blessed by God
50 States
Free Country
Loved by me
Discovered by Columbus
A perfect place for US
United States of America
Many people love the one true God
Oh, I love the USA
Oh, I love the USA

“Live Baby Thrown In Trash” is a headline that’s unblelieveable, but Obama’s voting record indicates that he supports these heinous crimes. Put aside white, black, democrat, republican, red, yellow, or green. Anyone who claims to be human could in no way support allowing a baby to die just bacause it was supposed to be aborted. If you have any doubts, just search “Obama born alive policy”. Or, you can watch a National Right To Life video.

Ann Coulter on Victimhood

Posted by: Eric Sanders | Comments (0)

I first ran across Ann Coulter’s Victimhood article  at Conservative Grapevine. Ann Coulter has a lot of haters, which means to me that she must be doing something right.

If any of you have ever watched her in an interview, you will know that the self-proclaimed experts who are interviewing her rarely give her the opportunity to answer their questions. Instead, they interrupt, talk over, and generally ignore her. She has amazing self-control. I would probably blow a fuse.

Credit Due: I need to add that I was directed to Coservative Grapevine by Right Wing News.

From The Conservative Post

Posted by: Eric Sanders | Comments (0)

I ran across the following article about the dangers of electing democrats on The Conservative Post.  The article is from October 2007, and I didn’t check any of the facts in the article. I really enjoyed the article, and I’m passing it on as I found it. Just follow the link below to find out how:

Christians Murdered for Faith

God’s Appointment

In 1999 our pastor, Bill Bryan, had a divinely appointed meeting with a complete stranger from India. One man from Beulah, Alabama and another from Goa, India “just happened” to make acquaintance while in the Los Angeles airport. This meeting led to the founding of AHEAD, a ministry of The Bridge Church that reaches out to the poor and needy across India.

Since this meeting, Dr. Samuel has visited our church several times with information and updates about improvements in India. Recently, however, these updates have taken a horrific turn. The following is a copy of the actual email sent to our church from Dr. Samuel. As an American, it is hard to comprehend that these barbaric crimes still occur throughout parts of the world. The worst thing I have to worry about is having to verbally defend myself at times because of my beliefs. These people are watching their houses destroyed, their children tortured and murdered, and their communities destroyed by Hindu gangs; all because of their belief in God.

Subject: Orissa report

PRAISE THE LORD

On the 25th of August the main Leader of the Orissa Missions had called to ask me to go there as some of our Missionaries were being intimidated by local religious and communal groups. The missionaries were themselves so isolated that they never knew that similar events were unfolding in several parts of that state. I prayed about the matter and travelled to Orissa on the 29th, by faith not knowing that the entire state was gripped with anti-Christian violence. It was later that I learnt that the violence was sparked by the brutal killing of a senior leader of a radical Hindu Movement by local Maoist rebels. Since the Maoists are few and far between, the Hindu radicals diverted their vengeance to the minority Christian community. Many Christian schools, orphanages, churches were burnt down and believers were burnt alive and some brutally hacked to death.

On the 31st morning I reached there in the midst of this fiery violence little knowing of the danger I was exposing myself to. As I disembarked the train, people began staring at me like they knew me and I reckoned that they knew me as I frequented that place often. A local missionary was waiting for me at the station who was surprised that I had heeded that call and actually came. He told me that it was unsafe to leave the station as many people in the locality would recognise me, his family himself had escaped to the jungles for safety. I was asked to take a train back immediately, but there are no trains until 2 days later. I prayed at the station and took to the street and got myself a room at a nearby lodge. I decided to visit nearby villages and not venture too far as I not only posed a grave threat to my life, but to my fellow missionaries as well. I arranged for the Leader to pass the message of my arrival to the other missionaries secretly. The following day a few of the missionaries turned up as the rest of them flew to the jungles for refuge.

The few missionaries who were in attendance narrated the violence and bloodshed they witnessed. One of the incidents which broke my heart most was of a baby who was tied and ripped apart in front of the mother for the simple reason of refusing to deny her Faith. And another of a Pastor who was paraded on the street and whipped and eventually killed by crushing his head with a boulder. I prayed and encouraged them to continue the work and exercising wisdom at the same time.

The official puts the death tool at close to 20, but unofficial reports suggest a death toll exceeding 60. Scores of churches and prayer halls and Christian institutions have been burnt and vandalized. Currently there are 7 refugee camps where 10,000 people are taking refuge under sub-basic conditions. (Today’s News: The refuge camp was attacked by the radical mob). Though curfew and shoot-at-sight is being imposed the violence does not seem to subside. And the Christians continue to live with this grim reality not knowing when they will be attacked. I wished deep down in my heart of providing relief to the affected, but the prevailing situation makes it close to impossible. And we still lack resources to to provide that relief.

The next early morning 2am the lodge owner woke and asked to leave immediately as 2 persons in the same lodge were hacked to death and thrown in a river 30mins ago. So I immediately left the place and rushed to the railway station and left on a 5am train.

The immediate prayer requests from me and the fellow workers in Orissa:

  1. To provide quick  and basic relief
  2. To  rebuild prayer halls and homes
  3. Continuous Prayer and Support

Continually pray for the acquirement of the hospital. Please pray that all needs would be met by the 15th of September. With the hospital we will be able to carry out relief work and support in times of need like this as well.

Yours in Christ,

Samuel.

Child Rape Really Not So Bad

Posted by: Eric Sanders | Comments (0)

This is exactly the message that the Supreme Court handed down on Wednesday. In a 5-4 decision ( let’s guess the democrat to republican ratio of the Supreme Court, I’m betting about 5:4 ) they declared that executions are too severe for child rapists. Too severe? Really? A grown man repeatedly rapes a 5 year old girl and the death penalty is too severe? In my mind the death penalty is the easiest punishment this man could receive. Give him an opportunity to get saved and then send him to Heaven, or Hell if he refuses. It’s crunch time! Five states, Louisiana, Georgia, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas, have laws allowing executions for the rape of a child where the victim is not killed. Only five out of fifty, sad. And now these laws now are no longer valid. Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote “the death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child.” Come on, even Barack Obama disagreed with the decision. The reason these judges voted the way they did is because this is the expected when you call yourself democrat. I’m sick of political games, especially ones that put political affiliation above the well being of the youngest citizens of America. “We the people”, this is a phrase that all political figures had better realize. This country is floating in the bowl just waiting to be flushed, and we the people are the only ones who can stop it.

We all know that most every news story aired leans so far to the left that it takes a village to keep it from tumping over. What most people don’t know is that these liberal rules are spelled out for journalists by the Society of Professional Journalists. They are supposed to be “dedicated to  encouraging the free practice of journalism and stimulating high standards of ethical behavior.” Just look at some of their guidelines for accomplishing this ethical behavior.

Striving For Fair, Biased Journalism

Most of these guidelines are crap, but one of the most outrageous is to “Cover the victims of harassment, murder and other hate crimes as thoroughly as you cover the victims of overt terrorist attacks. ” Are you kidding me? First, you must read my views on hate crimes. Either all crimes are hate crimes, or none are. Crime is crime. A crime committed against a straight white man should be punished just the same as that crime being committed against a one-legged African-Hispanic lesbian.  (Don’t get all hopping mad, I have nothing against one-legged African-Hispanic lesbians.) What these journalists are trying to say is that having a plane flown through your office building and thousands of people being burned or crushed to death is equivilant to someone spray painting graffiti on your house. I don’t think so.

Just imagine how bad it will be when we get a Muslim president in office…

Boy Stomped To Death By Father

Posted by: Eric Sanders | Comments (3)

A twenty-seven year old man is driving his truck along a California highway with his two year old son beside him.

He stops the truck, removes the boy from his car seat, and begins punching, kicking, and stomping the boy.

A police officer arrives and shoots the man, but it’s too late for the little boy. He has been stomped into an unrecognizable mass on the side of the road.

This happened in Turlock, California on Saturday night.

The police officer acted as he should, but he was the only one in this situation to do so.

Here’s my problem: Several motorists called 911 and tried to stop the beating, but the beating continued. Just exactly what did they do to try to stop him? Offer him a sucker? Threaten to put him in time-out? How were so many ( I don’t know the exact number ) people unable to stop this man from stomping a two year old boy to death? Were people afraid to get involved? Were they afraid for their own safety?

Every person has the responsibility to protect and care for people who cannot protect themselves. When I hear about someone attacking an elderly person or abusing a child I feel a fire in my gut toward the attacker and a sorrow in my heart for the victim that does not soon ease.

You may call me harsh, judgmental, or vigilante; but you will never call me someone who stood by and watched a child stomped to death.

The Hateful Conservative

Posted by: Eric Sanders | Comments (2)

Recently, I have been accused of being confused, close-minded, and hateful. What has my mind drowning in a pool of bleeding hearts is the fact that these accusations come because of an article I wrote about repeat sex offenders. I will never understand what goes on inside the mind of someone who can choose criminal’s rights over victim’s rights. Wow! Victims have rights too? I’m tired of hearing about criminal’s rights from the donthaveACLUe and other sleezy defense lawyers.

I Stand For What I Believe

In today’s world people are so accustomed to crawfishing (for anyone outside of the southeast US this means backing up) and trying to be politically correct that when someone stands firm on thier beliefs they are attacked as being hateful, bigots, or, oh my the worst of all, not tolerant! Well guess what, I’m not tolerant. I have zero tolerance for drug pushers. I have zero tolerance for murderers. I have zero tolerance for rapists. I have zero tolerance for child abusers. I also have zero tolerance for the people who enable these criminals by telling them that it’s not their fault. Their actions must have been caused by society, their parents, or something they experienced as a child that has been locked away for years. The doctors, lawyers, and psychiatrists who peddle this crap only do so because it means a large paycheck for them. I believe that every person is responsible for his own actions. Go ahead and label me as you will, but I still believe what I believe. In fact, if you will send me a hard copy of that label I can use it the next time the toilet paper roll is empty.

We all know about the sex offender registry where we can check on the perverts in our area. Convicted sex offenders are required to register with police and are usually prohibited from living near areas where children gather. How would you like to check the registry to find sex offenders registered as living “in the woods”, or “under a bridge”, or “transient”? That’s how numerous sex offenders are registering because they actually live in prohibited areas.

The System Is A Joke

Many states allow sex offenders to register as “homeless” as long as they stay in touch with authorities. That’s like taking Bill Clinton’s word that he won’t go near the cigar box. Being registered as homeless or transient allows these predators the freedom to roam around schools, parks, daycares, or even your house because the authorities don’t have any real way to track them.

Pity For The Criminal

Then there are the sob stories about how these people can’t get jobs, apartments, or homes because a background check reveals their evil deeds. Well bleeding hearts of the world unite! You think your life sucks? What about the women and children whose lives you destroyed? Think about them before you get on camera with the local news crying about having to sleep in your car or not being allowed to hang out in the local park ( and that was your favorite pick-up spot!).

Brainwavers’ Method Of Tracking Sex Offenders

Depending on severity, sex crimes should have a minimum sentence of life in prison (I’m talking about the real kind of life, like ’til death) and a maximum sentence of death by hanging. I promise that we would be able to track 100% of sex offenders . Put the word out. Make people afraid to commit crimes. If the judicial system keeps slapping them on the wrist and turning them out to strike again nothing will change.
